SISAK, Feb 8 (Hina) - A Croatian government commissioner for UN
Sector North, Marko Sremic, has held ten meetings with rebel Serb
authorities from the occupied part of Sisak County to discuss the
problem of missing and detained persons.
Sremic told a meeting in Sisak today with the Association of
Families of Detained and Missing Persons, that about 20 cases had
been solved on both sides as a result of talks with Serb
authorities.
Sremic said 980 people were registered as detained or missing
in Sector North.
He announced that the next meeting with rebel Serb authorities
would be held on February 10 at the UNPROFOR Danish battalion
headquarters in Cesko Selo near Petrinja, 50 km southeast of
Zagreb.
