ZAGREB, Feb 6 (Hina) - Croatian Agriculture Minister, and Prefect
of Zagreb County, Ivica Gazi, and Samobor Mayor Antun Dubravko
Filipec, paid a reciprocal three-day visit to Romania's province of
Arad, a statement from the County Prefect's Cabinet said on Monday.
Gazi and Filipec today met with Romanian businessmen which
included an assistant to Romanian Agriculture Minister, Julian
Puske, and the head of the Arad province, Avram Kracun.
They had discussed the establishment of Croatian-Romanian
consortium aimed at better cooperation between businessmen in the
two countries and at fostering cooperation in agriculture.
Following this visit, a Croatian economic delegation will
also visit Romania. It is expected to sign a protocol on
cooperation, according to the statement.
