ZAGREB, Jan 27 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Nikica Valentic at
a press conference this morning named five new ministers and a
deputy culture minister.
Zagreb County prefect Ivica Gazi is the new Agriculture and
Forestry Minister while Deputy Labour and Social Welfare Minister
now becomes Labour and Social Welfare Minister.
Zagreb Deputy Mazor Marina Matulovic-Dropulic has been named
the new Town Planning, Construction and Housing Minister while the
president of the Croatian Privitisation Fund, Ivan Penic, moves on
as Privatisation Minister.
The head of the Government Office for Displaced People and
Refugees, Adalbert Rebic, now becomes a Minister without a
portfolio. And Zagreb attorney Mira Crnja is the new deputy Culture
Minister.
Valentic said Croatian President Franjo Tudjman had accepted
his newly proposed ministerial appointments but Parliament was yet
to make the final decision.
