TUZLA, Dec 25 (Hina) - Commander of the Stabilization Force (SFOR)
in Bosnia-Herzegovina and of NATO ground troops in Europe General
William W. Crouch, and U.S. Amy headquarters chief-of-staff General
Denis J. Reimer, celebrated Christmas at the SFOR Sector North
Headquarters in Tuzla together with American soldiers in the
northeastern Bosnian city, SFOR Sector North public relations
office reported on Wednesday.
Generals Crouch and Reimer visited American soldiers who have
remained in Bosnia-Herzegovina in a new NATO mission being deployed
at the U.S. base outside Tuzla. They also paid a visit to wounded
SFOR soldiers treated in a SFOR hospital in Tuzla.
SFOR troops in Tuzla marked Christmas by many sports and
cultural events.
A Christmas mass was celebrated in the army chapel.
