BUDAPEST, Dec 20 (Hina) - Croatian Economy Minister Davor Stern met
Hungarian Privatization Minister Judit Csiha on Friday for talks on
Hungary's plans to buy 12.5 per cent of shares in the Croatian
Adriatic Oil Pipleline company.
During a day-long official visit to Budapest, Stern was also
received by Industry and Trade Minister Szaboles Fazakas, with whom
he discussed the reconstruction of the northern Adriatic port of
Rijeka and opening of a duty-free zone there, as well as traffic
links between the two countries.
Stern said after the talks that trade between Croatia and
Hungary was increasing but that it still was not satisfactory. He
added that it was considerably lower than trade with Slovenia and
Austria.
