ZAGREB, Dec 18 (Hina) - Croatian Deputy Foreign Minister Ivo
Sanader on Wednesday received Christian Schwarz-Schilling,
international mediator for the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina,
the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Schwarz-Schilling informed Sanader about his visit to the
Croat-Moslem Federation, particularly his meetings with local
authorities in the Croat-controlled town of Jajce and the Moslem-
controlled town of Bugojno.
He stressed the great importance of an agreement signed by
Croat and Moslem officials in Bugojno on Tuesday, which binds both
parties to resolve problems in the Bugojno municipality in line
with the Federation's Constitution and previous agreements.
Schwarz-Schilling said that the implementation of that
agreement might be crucial for resolving other outstanding issues
in the Federation.
Sanader reaffirmed Croatia's support to the international
mediator in his efforts in the Bosnian Federation and to the
implementation of the Dayton peace accords in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Sanader said that Croatia would do its utmost to help in the
resolving of outstanding issues in the Federation on the basis of
the Washington agreement and the conclusions of the London
conference.
