CROATIAN, FRY COMMISSIONS FOR MISSING PERSONS HOLD MEETING

BELGRADE, Dec 10 (Hina) - Croatian government Commission for Missing and detained Persons and the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia government Commission for Humanitarian Issues and Missing Persons continued a two-day meeting in Belgrade on Tuesday, in line with an agreement between the two countries' foreign ministers Mate Granic and Milan Milutinovic. The meeting focused on the protocol on cooperation between the two commissions. The delegations are headed by the president of the Croatian Commission, Ivan Grujic, and president of the FRY Commission, Pavle Todorovic.

The meeting focused on the protocol on cooperation between the two commissions. The delegations are headed by the president of the Croatian Commission, Ivan Grujic, and president of the FRY Commission, Pavle Todorovic. #L# Participating at the meeting are representatives of relevant Bosnian Federation commissions, consisting only of Croats because Moslems had failed to respond to the invitation, and representatives of the Republika Srpska. The aim of the meeting is to try to find out the whereabouts of missing persons in Bosnia-Herzegovina who are being searched for by the Croatian and Yugoslav sides. Croatia is searching for 120 persons around Kupres and in Posavina in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Representatives of the International Red Cross are engaged in resolving the issue in the area and the Croatian Commission representatives are participating in their work as observers. Present at the meeting are also heads of the Zagreb and Belgrade Office of the International Organization of the Red Cross, Isabelle Bittisaz and Francoise Belone. (hina) lm jn 102126 MET dec 96
