SARAJEVO, Dec 9 (Hina) - The Moslem-led Party of Democratic Action
on Monday proposed Haris Silajdzic for the co-chairman of the
Council of Ministers of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The SDA executive committee decided at the Sarajevo session
that the current premier of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Hasan Muratovic,
should be the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations in
the Council.
The SDA leadership also decided to propose the current Bosnian
ambassador in Vienna, Husein Zivalj, for a Deputy Foreign Minister.
The SDA appointment commission was authorized to name a Moslem
candidate for a Deputy Minister of Civilian Affairs and
Communications.
The SDA executive committee said in a statement that those
decisions were "supported by a great majority" of the party's
membership.
The SDA executive committee also supported a proposal by its
leader Alija Izetbegovic on creating a united 'Bosnian front' which
would represent "a form of gathering all political forces that are
for the unified and democratic Bosnia-Herzegovina."
