After the meeting, Mc Unfraidh stated that during the six
months of Ireland's chairmanship over the European Union he had
been able to witness considerable progress in the process of
peaceful reintegration. Much had been done in that process, he
said, adding that many things still had to be done.
Vrkic said he had informed his guests about the latest
achievements in the reintegration process, stressing the great
political importance of yesterday's visit of the Croatian President
Franjo Tudjman to the Croatian Danubian area.
