Some six billion kunas would have to be invested in the
reconstruction of the Croatian Danubian area, Klein said, adding
that Zagreb would host a conference of donors on 6 December.
The most difficult problem in the process of peaceful
reintegration were cultural and economic differences between
displaced Croats and Serbs living in the occupied Croatian areas.
Belgrade can do nothing for the Serbs living in the Croatian
Danubian area and their future is in Croatia, Klein said.
Klein also visited Pakrac, western Slavonia, and thanked local
authorities for support during the process of peaceful
reintegration of the Croatian Danubian area.
