IFOR spokesman in Sarajevo Bratt Boudreau said the accident
had happened on Friday morning around 1.00 hours, and that it was
assumed that the "Leopard" tank skidded due to bad weather
conditions.
One of the injured soldiers is in serious condition and the
other two received light injuries.
IFOR members confirmed that several abandoned houses near
Brcko had been mined on Thursday night.
Four houses from which Moslems had been exiled were completely
damaged in the village of Omerbegovaca, in the Serb entity.
NATO troops immediately investigated near-by buildings in
search of any mines possibly planted in them.
Boudreau said IFOR experts had carried out investigations in
Porebrice, south-west of Brcko, where two explosions had happened
at an open market for people from the both sides of the inter-
entity line.
It was established that the explosions were caused by hand-
made explosive devices which contained some half a kilo of
explosive each.
It was estimated that this incident was the result of a
conflict among some groups of people involved in illegal trade.
