BEIJING, Nov 26 (Hina) - Croatia's Economy Davor Stern, who is
heading a Croatian economic delegation on a visit to China, on
Tuesday met China's vice premier Li Lanqing.
The Chinese vice premier stressed good political and economic
relations between China and Croatia, and added that his country
supported trade relations as well as other kinds of cooperation
with Croatia.
Li Lanqing also said he believed in great prospects of
Croatia's economic development, and added that Croatian ports could
be used for transport of Chinese goods exported to European
markets.
Before he met Li Lanqing, the Croatian Economy Minister
visited the Chinese ministry of foreign trade and economic
cooperation where he held talks with the deputy minister Li Guohua.
Stern also visited the electrification ministry where he, Croatian
businessmen and their hosts discussed possible cooperation.
On Tuesday morning Minister Stern addressed a meeting on the
Croatian-Chinese economic and technological cooperation at which
representatives of 19 Croatian companies talked with prospective
Chinese partners.
