ZAGREB, Nov 16 (Hina) - President of the Croatian Victimology

to make it possible for a mass to be prepared and served in Vukovar
on 18 and 19 November, the day of the towns occupation. #L#
In the letter which was on Saturday forwarded to Hina,
Separovic said that present at the mass would be local Catholics
and groups of Vukovar mothers, who would be able to visit Vukovar
on that day and to take part in the commemoration for the people
killed in Vukovar.
"Enabling this ceremony would be a good sign of good will of
the Transitional Administration which would show that the residents
of Vukovar had the right to return," the letter said.
He also expressed repugnance towards the "celebration of the
liberation of Vukovar" which was being prepared by the local Serbs.
"Vukovar was occupied in 1991, not liberated! Your authorities
have to prevent any kind of celebration which, at this moment,
could only be interpreted as a provocation and insult to thousands
of innocent victims of the Serb aggression on Croatia and Vukovar,"
the letter said.
