ZAGREB, Nov 13 (Hina) - The lower house's decision not to include
the so-called Zagreb crisis on its agenda was a logical one,
chairman of the Zagreb HDZ branch Zlatko Canjuga told a press
conference on Wednesday.
"This issue properly pertains to local government and self-
government bodies," Canjuga said.
By leaving Parliament Hall, the entire Croatian Opposition has
reduced itself to "total hibernation," he said.
Croatia's accession to the Council of Europe, the "Zagreb
situation" was making the Opposition leaders nervous, exposing
their lack of good will for seeking democratic solutions, Canjuga
said.
But HDZ's invitation to constructive inter-party dialogue
still held, he added.
He called on the chairmen of the City and County Assembly to
call sessions to discuss issues of importance for everyday life in
Zagreb, including the dismissal of the two assembly chairmen.
Canjuga announced that HDZ would call for the involvement of
the Administration Ministry if the sessions were not called within
the statutory deadline.
