KNIN, Nov 8 (Hina) - Slovene business people are interested in
investing into companies in the Croatian southern town of Knin
which was liberated from the four-year Serb occupation in the
summer of 1995.
The General Consul of the Republic of Slovenia in Split, Joze
Hlep, held talks in Knin on Friday with the Croatian government
commissioner for the town, Zvonimir Puljic, about the possibilities
of economic cooperation.
Hlep said that he would soon organize talks between Slovene
business people and directors of companies in Knin, so that
agreements on concrete forms of cooperation and investment could be
reached.
Hlep added that Slovenia was interested in cooperation in wood
and metal industries.
