$ G IN KNIN KNIN, Oct 22 (Hina) - Croatian President's advisor for humanitarian issues Slobodan Lang on Tuesday presided the ninth session of the Coordination for Help for elderly and abandoned residents of Croatian areas which were
liberated in the summer of 1995, which is taking place in Knin. Lang stressed that the coordination of government, non- government and international humanitarian organizations had done a lot to protect elderly persons. He recalled that 500 elderly persons from liberated Croatian areas had been placed in retirement homes and people who had stayed in their houses were being taken care of by mobile social teams of humanitarian organizations.

KNIN, Oct 22 (Hina) - Croatian President's advisor for humanitarian
issues Slobodan Lang on Tuesday presided the ninth session of the
Coordination for Help for elderly and abandoned residents of
Croatian areas which were liberated in the summer of 1995, which is
taking place in Knin.
Lang stressed that the coordination of government, non-
government and international humanitarian organizations had done a

He recalled that 500 elderly persons from liberated Croatian

President of the Croatian Parliament Committee for Human
Rights Miroslav Kis stressed that a list of elderly persons from
the Croatian Danubian area would have to be drawn up because the
area would soon be integrated into the Croatian legal and
constitutional system.
Present at the meeting were also representatives of the
Croatian, Danish and international Red Cross organizations, the
Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent, as well as
representatives of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in
Europe.
