SARAJEVO, Nov 6 (Hina) - Refugees and dislocated people from
Sarajevo and southern Bosnia-Herzegovina will be able to submit
requests for the return of property, to offices of the Commission
for Refugees' Property Issues, open in Sarajevo, Lukavica and
Mostar, as of November 11,1996.
The Commission, established in line with the Dayton peace
accord, Wednesday issued a statement saying that refugees can
institute processes for the return of the property they left or
file compensation claims if they did not want to use it any more.
Persons who cannot have access to their property, including
their real estate or the tenancy rights, can file a complaint to
the Commission.
Persons who would like to come in touch with the Commission,
must visit offices personally or contact them via their authorized
lawyers or other person, as requests will not be received either by
mail or by telephone.
At the moment refugees, currently living in the area of
Sarajevo, Lukavica, Capljina, Stolac and Neum, can file requests.
The commission will soon open several other offices all over
Bosnia-Herzegovina, according to the statement.
