OSIJEK, Oct 28 (Hina) - The Croatian Government Office of the
Temporary Administration for the Establishment of Croatian
Authority in Eastern Slavonia, Baranja and Western Srijem on Monday
said in a statement that it had reached an agreement with the
UNTAES about the visit of displaced persons to cemeteries in areas
under UNTAES administration on occasion of the All Saints' Day on
November 1. #L#
Under an agreement with heads of the municipalities under
UNTAES control, a list will be drafted of displaced persons who are
to visit the villages of Bilje, Kopacevo, Torjanci, Baranjsko
Petrovo Selo, Novi Bezdan, Beli Manastir, Darda, Branjin Vrh,
Antunovac, Ernestinovo, Laslovo, Korodj, Novo Tenje, Celije, the
town of Vukovar, Ovcara, Miklusevci, Marinci, Bogdanovci,
Svinjarevci, Tordinci, Oriolik, Ceric, Nijemci, Novo Selo,
Podgradje, Apsevci and Lipovac.
In the statement, the Office thanked General Jacques Klein for
everything he had done to enable the displaced persons to visit the
cemeteries in the Croatian Danubian area on All Saints' Day.
"However, in further talks with UNTAES, we will try to expand
the list of cemeteries to places not included in this visit," the
statement said.
