In most cases, the causes of the explosions were still
unknown, Boudreau said, adding though that the frequent targets of
the attacks were houses in abandoned villages, particularly in
those villages to which their former inhabitants plan to return.
IFOR would take decisive steps in order to prevent further
destruction of property and as of Tuesday it would start actions
aimed at apprehending persons responsible for the incidents,
Boudreau said.
IFOR chief commander Joseph Lopez has informed all three
members of the Bosnian Presidency about measures that are to be
taken by IFOR and asked for their support in diffusing the
situation on the ground.
