ZAGREB, Oct 4 (Hina) - Croatia's Parliament House of
Representatives Friday gave vote of confidence in Agriculture and
Forestry Minister Matej Jankovic.
By a majority of vote members of parliament refused a proposal
of 20 opposition deputies to take vote of no confidence in Minister
Jankovic.
The lower house voted on some ten issues that had been
discussed this week, and then adjourned the 11th session until
Wednesday.
The lower house heard of an additional Government report on
the audit and demanded from the Government to continue to take
decisive measures against unlawful acts at which the National Audit
Office pointed out.
By a majority of vote parliamentarians accepted a report on
the work of the state attorney.
A bill on marking Homeland War mass graves received unanimous
support in the first reading.
The lower house decided that a bill on the education in
minorities' languages should pass through the third reading.
The lower house refused a proposal by the Social and
Democratic Party (SDP) that the parliamentary labour, social policy
and health committee control whether the Government and pension and
disablement insurance funds work in line with laws, find how much
the Republic of Croatia was in debt to pension funds and how it can
pay the debt.
