ZAGREB, 3 Oct (Hina) - The Croatian government was determined to organise elections in eastern Slavonia by 15 December. At today's session, the Government formed a Commission for the organisation of elections in eastern Slavonia,
Baranja and western Srijem. The Commission will be headed by Administration Minister Davorin Mlakar.

organise elections in eastern Slavonia by 15 December. At today's
session, the Government formed a Commission for the organisation of

The government also decided to take a DM-200-million loan from
Dresdner Bank Luxemburg. The loan, intended for the realisation of
tasks set by this year's state budget, will be paid during the next
two years.
Croatian Vice Premier Borislav Skegro informed today's
government session about the recent visit of an International
Monetary Fund (IMF) mission to Croatia.
Speaking about government policy, Premier Zlatko Matesa
stressed that foundations for a sound financial system and long-
term economic stability had been established in the past three
years.
