ZAGREB, 23 Sept (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman called
for tomorrow the third session of the Presidential Council. The
session is entitled 'Croatian Tourism - Situation and Prospects'.
The session would be opened by President Tudjman, who would
also deliver a final estimation of the session, the Council's
secretary Gordan Radic told reporters today.
Introductory speeches will be given by Vice Premier Borislav
Skegro, Tourism Minister Niko Bulic, Privatisation and Property
Management Minister Ivan Penic, Croatian National Bank Governor
Marko Skreb and the director of the Croatian Bank for
Reconstruction and Development, Anton Kovacev.
The session will be attended by some 177 participants,
including Croatian county prefects.
The Presidential Council, which was formed as an advisory body
of the President of the Republic, also holds sessions on questions
concerning constitutional jurisdiction of the President of the
Republic, with the aim of coordinating activities and decisions of
supreme state bodies concerning current and long-term questions of
state policy, with the aim of securing respect for the
Constitution.
