Both Croatia and Albania saw a chance for their economic
development in joining Central-European and Euro-Atlantic
institutions, Meksi said after the meeting.
'Albania appreciates Croatia's contribution to the
establishment of peace and stability in the region, but when Kosovo
is concerned, we hold that human and minority rights should be
fully protected, with active participation of the international
community', Meksi added.
The Albanian side supported Croatia in its efforts to complete
the peaceful reintegration of the Croatian Danubian area.
Premier Matesa said that the talks had also tackled the
economic cooperation. The two sides agreed to establish commissions
for the exchange of information and identification of all
possibilities of economic cooperation, Matesa said.
