ZAGREB, Sept 24 (Hina) - Croatian Defence Minister Gojko Susak
left for Kiev on Tuesday to sign a military cooperation agreement
between Croatia and Ukraine.
On the Ukrainian side, the agreement will be signed by
Defence Minister Olexandar Kuzmak.
Susak told reporters at Zagreb airport that his visit should
encourage military cooperation between the two countries.
He said that Croatia was signing similar agreements with
neighbouring and other countries as part of preparations for
entering NATO's Partnership for Peace programme.
Susak added he would travel to the United States next month
to discuss Croatia's admission to the Partnership for Peace.
