ZAGREB, Sept 22 (Hina) - The Presidency of the Bavarian Senate on
Sunday visited the Autumn International Trade Fair in Zagreb where
they held talks with the manager of the Infrastructure Sector Boris
Simeunovic.
The Bavarian Senate chairman Walter Schmitt Glaeser,
accompanied by the president of the National Security and Foreign
Affairs Committee of the Croatian parliament's Upper House Ivan
Novosel, was informed about the business of the Trade Fair, the
development plans and the traditionally good cooperation with
German partners.
The Autumn Trade Fair, which closes today, this year gathered
2,961 exhibitors from 51 countries. Today's talks pointed out the
exceptional cooperation with Bavarian companies and the Munich
Fair.
On the basis of a recently signed agreement between the Zagreb
and Munich Fairs and the Bavarian Cooperation Centre (OWZ Bayern),
8-12 seminars lasting 40 days will be organized in Croatia and
Bavaria next year, with the aim to provide additional training to
Croatian economy experts taking part in future fairs. It is also a
confirmation of the cooperation between the Zagreb and Munich
Fairs, which signed an agreement in 1994.
