ZAGREB, Sept 18 (Hina) - The Croatian and Bavarian Governments on
Wednesday signed a bilateral agreement on the construction of
several sections of a highway connecting Nuernberg (Germany),
Maribor (Slovenia), Zagreb and Split.
The agreement was signed by the Croatian Development and
Reconstruction Minister, Jure Radic, and Hans Spritzer, secretary
at the Bavarian Trade Ministry.
The Croatian Government also signed a preliminary concession
agreement with the contractor, the Walter Bau company from Bavaria.
Apart from the Macelj-Zagreb section of the above-mentioned
highway, the same contractor is also going to build a bridge
spanning the bay of Rijeka Dubrovacka south of Dubrovnik.
