Thursday received the outgoing head of the Zagreb Regional Center
of the European Union Monitoring Mission, Jean-Luc Faure. #L#
The main task of the EU Monitoring Mission was to monitor the
economic situation in Croatia, in order to provide information for
those EU member states which were interested in investing into
Croatia's economy.
The EU would provide logistical support for the permanent
mission of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe
(OSCE). The main task of the OSCE mission was to protect human
rights and monitor the situation in western Slavonia and the
Croatian Danubian area, Faure said.
