ZAGREB, Sept 16 (Hina) - Croatian Economy Minister Davor Stern on
Monday received a delegation of the Norwegian government and
businessmen, headed by Deputy Trade and Shipping Minister Even Aas,
the Croatian Ministry of Economy said in a statement.
The talks would focus on cooperation in shipbuilding, Stern
said, while Aas added that Norway was also interested in the
privatization of telecommunications in Croatia, as well as in power
supply and the privatization of public enterprises.
The Norwegian delegation would stay in Croatia until Wednesday
and hold official talks at the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of
Finances and the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Communications. A
visit to shipyards in Pula and Rijeka was also planned, the
statement concluded.
