ZAGREB, 30 Aug (Hina) - Croatian Parliament Chairman Vlatko Pavletic on Friday received a delegation of the Association of parents of Croatian soldiers killed in war, which was led by the Association's president Ljerka Ivusic. The
purpose of the meeting was to discuss a bill on the care for Croatian defenders and their families which is to be discussed at a parliament session in the second half of September.

Pavletic on Friday received a delegation of the Association of
parents of Croatian soldiers killed in war, which was led by the
Association's president Ljerka Ivusic. The purpose of the meeting
was to discuss a bill on the care for Croatian defenders and their
families which is to be discussed at a parliament session in the

Many parents, whose children died for their homeland, are
living today at subsistence level. There are parents who live in
the country and workers whose salaries do not exceed 500 kunas.
That is why the Association demands that the parents of killed
Croatian defenders be given appropriate place in the new law.
