SARAJEVO, July 9 (Hina) - An urgent session of the Bosnian Federation Constitutional Assembly on Tuesday ended with the adoption of the federal defense law after half an hour of discussion in Sarajevo.

adoption of the federal defense law after half an hour of

The defense law was adopted with the majority of votes for and
three votes con.
In his introductory speech, Bosnian Federation Defense
Minister Vladimir Soljic said that the passing of the defense law
enabled the federal forces to be established and allowed the
constituting of the Federal defense as part of the defense of
Bosnia-Herzegovina.
"This removes the last of the obstacles for the realization of
the "Equip and Train" programme which will render the system more
efficient", Soljic said.
Present at the session of the Constitutional Assembly was a
special U.S. envoy for military cooperation with the Federation,
James Pardew.
