BRIJUNI, July 7 (Hina) - Simun Sito Coric was nominated as president of the HSK, and Zeljko Kovacic from Germany as treasurer at the 3rd Convention of the Croatian World Congress (HSK) which is in its third day in Brijuni.

Nominated to the post of vice-president fro Europe was Bela
Tonkovic, for South America Jure Gadz, for Australia Ivan Marusic
and for North America Luka Milas.
Heads of working committees were also nominated.
Tamara Kisovar-Ivanda from Germany was nominated as head of
the Working Committee for Culture, Education, Sport and Connection
with the Homeland; Lidija Dorkin-Grabovac from the U.S. as head of
the Committee for Promotion and Lobbying; Julijano Vlasic from New
Zealand as head of the Working Committee for Youth; Josip Vinski
from Canada as head of Committee for Reconstruction and
Investments, and Ivan Skratulja from Australia as head of the
Committee for Humanitarian Help.
The Third Convention of the HSK also accepted the suggestion
for the means which would ensure the financing of the HSK.
They are to search for foreign individuals, companies and
associations which would donate some 5,000 German Marks each to the
HSK.
The project would last until the end of 1999 and would be
called "Thousand Golden Benefactors for the Third Millennium".
This will also be the name of a book which is to be printed in
the year 2000, and which will include the names of the benefactors.
