DUBROVNIK, July 7 (Hina) - An Indonesian business delegation,
currently on a two-day visit to Croatia, visited the southern
coastal city of Dubrovnik on Sunday.
The 20-member delegation headed by Indonesian Chamber of
Commerce president Aburizal Bakrie met Croatian Chamber of
Commerce officials and Dubrovnik Mayor Juro Buric to discuss
possibilities of promoting economic cooperation between the two
countries.
Buric described the talks as the continuation of good political
cooperation and the beginning of economic cooperation between
Indonesia and Croatia.
He stressed the possibilities of cooperation in tourism and the
production of health food.
Bakrie stressed the importance of full privatization for the
development of the tourist trade.
He said that Indonesia was interested in investing in Croatia,
but that it expected more stimulating measures to speed up
investment.
