ZAGREB, June 24 (Hina) - Croatian Economy Minister Davor Stern on Monday received a Malaysian delegation of businessmen headed by the Secretary-General with the Malaysian Primary Industry Ministry, who are in Croatia for a three-day
visit, a statement from the Croatian Economy Ministry said.

During the next two days, the Malaysian business people are to
hold talks with representatives of Croatian companies which
manufacture medicine, confectionery, and process wood and rubber.
Secretary-General with the Malaysian Ministry said that
Malaysia was interested in investing in Croatia and cooperating
with Croatia in the reconstruction of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
He stressed the trust of Malaysian authority in Croatia as an
important business partner and sort of a gateway for the export of
Malaysian goods to central Europe.
Stern said that Croatian would like to have Malaysia as its
business partner and as an important foreign investor.
Stern expressed hope in a greater exchange of goods between
the two countries, adding that Croatia had ensured all legal and
other preconditions for safe foreign investments, and recalled the
recent founding of the Croatian Agency for Promoting Investments
(HAPU).
