SARAJEVO, June 24 (Hina) - Every attempt of the Serb Democratic Party (SDS) to enter Radovan Karadzic as a candidate in the upcoming elections in Bosnia-Herzegovina will be considered as provocation and foolish toying with the
interests of common people among Bosnian Serbs," spokesman of the International Peace Coordinator, Carl Bildt's Office, Colum Murphy said in Sarajevo on Monday.

He warned that the political position of Pale was not clear
and that international mediators were getting mixed signals from
the local authority.
Foreign Minister with the Pale government, Aleksa Buha, had on
Monday refuted the possibility that he would take Karadzic's place
as president of the Serb entity, Murphy said.
There was still an atmosphere of chauvinism in Pale, as had
been seen in Europe in the early 40's, Murphy said, recalling that
a public hearing against Karadzic and Mladic was to take place
before the International Tribunal in The Hague, in two days.
Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE)
spokeswoman in Sarajevo Joanna van Vliet categorically rejected any
possibility that the name of any war crimes suspect appears on an
electoral slate.
According to adopted electoral rules, such slates would be
rejected and the attempts of adding names during voting would make
the slates invalid, van Vliet said.
