ZAGREB, June 17 (Hina) - Representatives of some 40 British
companies and associations who are visiting Croatia, on Monday met
with representatives of more than 50 Croatian companies at the
Sheraton Hotel in Zagreb.
The talks focused on possibilities of cooperation.
The meeting was addressed by Croatian vice premier Borislav
Skegro, British Ambassador to Croatia Gavin Hewitt, president of
the Zagreb Chamber of Commerce Vjekoslav Tomasic and director for
international market with the British Industry Confederation, Andy
Scott, who was heading the British delegation.
Among the members of the British delegation, most of them are
representatives of construction companies, manufacturers of
building and other equipment and machinery, engineering and
consulting companies and banks, especially investment banks and
companies which offer financial and business consulting services.
The visit of the British delegation was organized by the
British Industry Confederation.
The British delegation arrived in Croatia on Sunday and will
stay until June 21.
