SPLIT, June 17 (Hina) - German Defence Minister Volker Ruehe, High Commissioner for Bosnia and Herzegovina Carl Bildt, and Ruehe's military consultant, General de la Presle, arrived in Split on Monday, as part of a two-day visit to
the German IFOR troops, stationed in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Commissioner for Bosnia and Herzegovina Carl Bildt, and Ruehe's
military consultant, General de la Presle, arrived in Split on
Monday, as part of a two-day visit to the German IFOR troops,
stationed in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. #L#
Accompanied by General Henning Brummer, commander of the IFOR
logistic base in Divulje, Ruehe visited the German IFOR hospital in
Seget and IFOR's base in Divulje.
The two officials discussed the training of the German IFOR
units.
Later during the day, Ruehe left for Mostar. Tomorrow, Ruehe
will visit Ploce, where he is to see off a Tuzla-bound convoy, and
visit IFOR's engineering unit in Benkovac and an airforce unit in
Zemunik near Zadar.
