ZAGREB, 13 June (Hina) - Croatia's leading opposition party, the Croatian Social-Liberal Party (HSLS), on Thursday rejected further talks on possible cooperation with the ruling Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) party.

HSLS vice president Zlatko Kramaric sent a note to his HDZ
counterpart Ivic Pasalic and the media, saying: 'Considering the
Conclusions of the HSLS Great Council, adopted at a session held
on 12 June, 1996, I inform you that the HSLS does not accept any
further talks on possible negotiations on cooperation with the
HDZ'.
