JAJCE, Jun 5 (Hina) - Fifty-seven victims of Serb war crimes, of whom 51 were civilians, were dug up today from a mass grave in Carevo Polje in the Jajce municipality, central Bosnia. The bodies were transferred to the Split-based
Pathology Institute.

Some of the bodies were buried in hastily put-together
coffins, while others were just thrown into the pit, which is 70
yards long and 20 yards wide, the director of the Institute told
reporters.
Most of the bodies had been identified by relatives right
away.
According to Zvonko Jakosevic of the Jajce Police Department,
there was another mass grave in the vicinity. Exhumation was
underway.
