did not get new instructions regarding the arrest of war crimes
suspects, IFOR spokesman Simon Haselock said in Sarajevo on

The last meeting of the highest NATO officials in Berlin did
not bring any changes on that point, Haselock said.
He added that in the future IFOR would be more involved in the
realization of civil aims of the peace agreement. IFOR would be
deployed not on borderlines, but in the interior of the country.
IFOR representative Charles de Normont said that the
implementation force officials had decided to no longer hold press
conferences in Pale (headquarters of the Bosnian Serbs), because
there was a portrait of Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic, a war
crimes suspect, hanging on the wall in the room where press
conferences were held.
UN spokesman Aleksandar Ivanko said that the UN would act
according to the same stance.
