BELGRADE, 31 May (Hina) - The head of the Yugoslav Directorate for
consular activities, Milorad Ivanovic, on Friday informed the head
of the Croatian Government Office in Belgrade, Zvonimir Markovic,
that the Yugoslav Government Office in Zagreb would start with
consular activities on 15 June this year, a correspondent of the
Croatian news agency Hina from Belgrade said. Ivanovic proposed
that expert delegations of the foreign ministries (consular
services), interior ministries and customs services of Yugoslavia
and Croatia meet between 24 and 28 June. Ivanovic also asked that
the border crossing procedure for Yugoslav citizens entering
Croatia be facilitated.
He added that Croatian citizens would be able to submit
applications for entry into Yugoslavia in the Yugoslav Government
Office in Zagreb, so that the sending back from the border could be
avoided.
