ZAGREB, 28 May (Hina) - The Croatian Post and Telecommunications (HPT) on Tuesday presented a new commemorative stamp entitled 'The 5th Anniversary of the Establishment of the People's Guard', which will be used in domestic and
international postal service. The stamp, which has the nominal value of 1,30 kunas, was presented by the head of the Commission for Selection of Motifs and Graphic and Art Design of Postage Stamps, Dalibor Brozovic.

(HPT) on Tuesday presented a new commemorative stamp entitled 'The
5th Anniversary of the Establishment of the People's Guard', which
will be used in domestic and international postal service.
The stamp, which has the nominal value of 1,30 kunas, was
presented by the head of the Commission for Selection of Motifs and
Graphic and Art Design of Postage Stamps, Dalibor Brozovic. #L#
The author of the stamp is Danijel Popovic from Zagreb.
Photos from the Homeland war by Marin Topic from Osijek and Zoran
Filipovic from Zagreb were used during the creation of the stamp's
art design.
On the occasion of the issuing of the stamp, which marks the
Day of Croatia's armed forces, the HPT museum and the Philatelists'
Society 'Postman' organised an exhibition of postage stamps with
the image of Croatian soldier in the period between 1918 and 1996.
The exhibition will be opened until 28 June.
