ANKARA, May 27 (Hina) - The foreign ministers of Bosnia-
Herzegovina, Croatia, and Turkey, Jadranko Prlic, Mate Granic and
Emre Gonensay, met in Ankara on Monday to discuss the future of
Bosnia-Herzegovina.
This was the first meeting of the trilateral working group
for Bosnia-Herzegovina since the signing of a US-sponsored peace
agreement.
The talks were expected to focus on how to overcome problems
concerning preparations for country-wide elections this autumn
and forthcoming elections in the southwestern city of Mostar.
The three delegations would also discuss the training of
Bosnian Federation army officers in Turkey in line with the
Dayton peace agreement, and economic cooperation.
Turkey had said it was willing to invest about USD 20
million in postwar reconstruction of Bosnia-Herzegovina and
Turkish companies were also interested in participating in
reconstruction projects.
