ZAGREB, May 21 (Hina) - Members of a U.S. Coast Guard team who are staying in Croatia ten days, on Monday held talks with representatives of the Croatian Defense Ministry in Zagreb.

representatives of the Croatian Defense Ministry in Zagreb. #L#
"They have come to assist us in establishing a system of
protection from international smuggling, violation of borders,
pollution and so on," assistant Defense Minister for the Navy,
Vice-Admiral Davorin Kaic said after the talks.
The head of the U.S. team and Captain of the Arn Heggers
frigate said that they had been impressed with the professionalism
and dedication of all people in different ministries with whom they
had met, as well as their strong will to organize coast protection.
Present at the talks were also deputy Defense Minister
Lieutenant General Kresimir Cosic and the head of the Croatian army
main headquarters, General Zvonimir Cervenko.
