SKOPJE, May 16 (Hina) - Macedonian Prime Minister Branko
Crvenkovski on Thursday received Croatia's Ambassador to Skopje,
Onesin Cvitan.
Crvenkovski said that his country was interested in expanding
economic cooperation with Croatia, particularly now that the
Zagreb-Belgrade motorway had been reopened. This interest had been
confirmed by Macedonian President Kiro Gligorov's recent visit to
Croatia, he added.
Cvitan informed his host that retail outlets of the footwear
company "Borovo" in Macedonia were now registered as Croatian
property after the matter had been settled in court.
The Borovo company is based in the Serb-occupied town of
Vukovar and was registered as a company of the Bosnian Serb
Republic after the Serb occupation of eastern Croatia.
