Fust and the leader of the Help for Croatia Project, Hans
Peter Lenz, held talks with the head of Croatian Government's
Office for Refugees and Displaced Persons, Damir Zoric.
Switzerland was the first country to take part in the
reconstruction of Croatia's destroyed areas, such as the Osojnik
village near Dubrovnik, to which all those displaced had returned,
Zoric said, expressing gratitude to the Swiss government for their
help.
Switzerland is currently providing help in the amount of
5,800,000 Swiss franks for the reconstruction of two villages in
Dalmatia and the reconstruction of some buildings in Pula, Istria.
Switzerland is also ready to provide financial aid for the
reconstruction of schools and kindergartens in eastern Slavonia.
