HVAR, 11 May (Hina) - Croatian Reconstruction and Development Minister Jure Radic and his associates, Split County Prefect Kruno Peronja and Croatian Navy Chief-Of-Staff, Admiral Sveto Letica, on Saturday visited the island of Hvar.
During the talks with Hvar Mayor Milan Lakos and municipal heads of Starigrad and Jelsa, Radic stressed the importance of a national development program for Croatian islands.

stressed the importance of a national development program for

Fifty-one projects would be realized on Croatian islands this
year and the state would provide 35 million kunas for their
realisation. Approximately as much as twice that amount would be
provided by public companies, Radic said.
The projects include the reconstruction of ports in Susak,
Zverinac, Olib, Komiza, Prigradica, Supetar as well as the
reconstruction of roads and numerous ecological activities.
