SARAJEVO, May 9 (Hina) - Bosnian Federation president Kresimir
Zubak has received a complaint from Croats from the village of
Dogloda near Sarajevo saying that on May 3 Moslem police set up a
police station in a private house and started harassing local
Croats and Serbs and evicting them from their houses, Zubak's
office said in a statement on Thursday.
Four Croat families had been ejected from their homes in
Dogloda, of which three had decided to take a risk and return
while the house of the fourth family was immediately occupied by
a Moslem family, said the statement carried by the Bosnian Croat
Habena news agency.
Moslem police were also forcing the remaining members of the
Serb community to leave Dogloda for the Serb Republic within
Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Moslem police had set up several check points in violation
of all agreements on freedom of movement in the Federation, the
statement said.
Federation vice president Ejup Ganic, international peace
coordinator Carl Bildt, his deputy Michael Steiner, and IFOR
commander Admiral Leighton Smith were informed about the incident
and were requested to take urgent steps to protect the Dogloda
residents from the unlawful work of the Moslem police.
