Granic is taking part in a conference on the Federation of
Bosnia-Herzegovina which is taking place on Thursday in Petersberg.
"We discussed the overall situation in the region, especially
the peaceful reintegration of eastern Slavonia, Baranja and western
Srijem, the normalization of relations with Belgrade, strengthening
of the Bosnian Federation and its ties with Croatia," Granic said
after the one-hour talks.
Granic thanked Kinkel for Bonn's support to Croatia concerning
its admittance into the Council of Europe.
Following a discussion about bilateral relations, Kinkel said
that Germany was interested in economic cooperation with Croatia.
Speaking of the conference on the Bosnian Federation, Granic
said that Croatia supported such meetings which should arrive at
agreements to resolve all open issues in the process of
establishing the Federation.
