SARAJEVO, Apr 24 (Hina) - Bosnian Serbs were holding 11 Moslem
prisoners at Pale in inhuman conditions, with no food or medical
care, Peter Swenson of the Sarajevo international police said on
Wednesday.
The UN police found out about these abuses when visiting the
prisoners, detained in a sports hall in Pale.
A protest with local police brought no relief to the
prisoners, as the Pale superintendent said that the feeding of
prisoners was not his responsibility, but that of the Red Cross.
The eleven Moslems are waiting for the International War
Crimes Tribunal to pronounce whether there are grounds for pressing
war crimes charges against them.
