ZAGREB, April 12 (Hina) - Macedonian President Kiro Gligorov
arrived for a one-day official visit to Zagreb on Friday at the
invitation of Croatian President Franjo Tudjman.
Gligorov, accompanied by his wife and a government
delegation, were met at Zagreb airport by Croatian Foreign
Minister Mate Granic and other senior officials.
Gligorov was scheduled to meet Tudjman in the Presidential
Palace after which he was to address a Croatian Parliament
session and hold talks with Parliament officials, including
speaker Vlatko Pavletic.
The Macedonian president would also meet for talks with
Croatian Prime Minister Zlatko Matesa and representatives of the
Mecedonian community in Croatia and the Macedonian-Croatian
Friendship Society.
The Macedonian delegation was also scheduled to lay a wreath
at the Homeland Altar at Medvedgrad.
